As the winter months arrive, many kids experience increased anxiety, irritability, low motivation, and emotional overwhelm. The holidays also bring schedule changes, social pressure, and sensory overload. Our Winter Wellness Workshops were designed to help kids build confidence, emotional resilience, and healthy coping skills — all while having fun.
Each 90-minute workshop includes a mix of:
Creative, therapeutic art
Mindfulness and grounding techniques
Age-appropriate coping skills
Mini-lessons on understanding winter emotions
Social connection and positive peer interaction
A take-home tool or craft they can use throughout the season
Workshops are grouped by school age to ensure activities are meaningful and developmentally appropriate.
Kids learn how winter affects mood, identify big feelings, practice coping strategies, build confidence, and create fun wellness tools like vision boards and hot cocoa calming kits.
Tweens learn to manage stress, understand winter mood dips, reconnect with their values, and build a personalized wellness plan using art, mindfulness, and guided journaling.
Teens dive deeper into self-awareness, explore boundaries, reduce holiday stress, and create practical tools to support mood and motivation. This session emphasizes expression, identity, and emotional balance.
